Activist Battle Turns Nasty

The battle for control of Norfolk Southern turned nasty last week when challenger, Ancora Holdings highlighted the past behavior of recently-hired Chief Operating Officer John Orr, noting claims of racial discrimination and using "abusive language" toward a female employee. Norfolk Southern responded to the claims by calling Ancora's candidate for Chief Operating Officer "deeply flawed."
